Simon Lundy
Simon has been involved in the world of business recovery and insolvency for 30 years since he joined Jennings Johnson, Sunderland (an associate firm of BDO Stoy Hayward) in January 1978 leaving them in 2001. Since 2001 Simon has been working in the insolvency department of a small Tyneside firm of chartered accountantsSimon joined Begbies Traynor as a Director in their new Newcastle upon Tyne office in January 2008.
Simon was a member of the ICAEW Insolvency Licensing Committee from 1991 to 1999, Chairman of the R3 North East region from 1991 to 1997 ,former Member of the DTI Insolvency Regulation Working Party which reported to Ministers in 1999, former Director of the Joint Insolvency Monitoring Unit Ltd and President of the Northern Society of Chartered Accountants in 1999-2000.
