Raising funds is not only about borrowing money or finding an investor - it involves finding the best and most appropriate funding structure that will help your business to achieve its aims of once again becoming a profitable going concern. A wide range of finance-raising processes is available, including:
  • Senior debt in the form of term loans
  • Overdraft facilities
  • Asset-based lending
  • Mezzanine finance
  • Business angels
  • Distressed debt and ‘vulture’ funds
  • Grant finance
  • Private equity funding - see our Group companies BTG Commercial Finance and BTG McInnes Corporate Finance
We’ll give you an honest, objective view of any plans you may have for raising finance – and we’ll be happy to advise on which of the above options, if any, are appropriate for your circumstances. We can also help to develop a robust funding proposal, relying on our extensive knowledge and contacts regarding sources of finance.

As well as supporting you and your fellow directors, we’ll also help to identify new investors and funders, advising them with regard to new leads and their need to make additional advances if your business is facing difficult cash-flow situations.
