Contingency Planning
Where there maybe financial exposure for a stakeholder we can formulate a contingency plan . Our work will depend on the financial position of the company and will include:- Preparation of an estimated outcome statement for the company in question. This will model different outcomes –including sale or insolvency. This will provide indicative ranges of realisation that the Stakeholder might expect to recover.
- Group restructure plan to show what stakeholder security and lending position might be following a sale or insolvency of certain subsidiary companies.
- Pre-insolvency planning to identify a series of actions that might be needed (including arranging new lines of credit, sources of supply, securing key employees, negotiating with landlords, speaking to key customers) and if appropriate approaching them prior to formal Insolvency proceedings.
- Preparing a list of potential interested parties, with shareholder and director consent, approaching them to consider suitability for sale, value and timing.
